TANJAK (Journal of Education and Teaching) applies a double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, academic rigor, and integrity of all published manuscripts. In this process, the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential to maintain objectivity and fairness during the evaluation.

All submitted manuscripts undergo the following review stages:

  1. Initial Editorial Screening

Upon submission, each manuscript is first reviewed by the editorial team to assess its conformity with the journal’s focus and scope, originality, writing quality, methodological appropriateness, and compliance with the author guidelines.

Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements or are outside the journal’s scope may be rejected at this stage.

  1. Peer Review Process

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two qualified reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript topic.

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on several criteria, including:

  • originality and contribution to educational knowledge;
  • theoretical foundation and literature review;
  • research methodology and data analysis;
  • clarity of results and discussion;
  • academic writing quality;
  • relevance and accuracy of references;
  • ethical considerations in research and publication.
  1. Review Decision

Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editor will make one of the following decisions:

  • Accept Submission – the manuscript is accepted without major revision;
  • Minor Revision – the manuscript requires limited improvements before acceptance;
  • Major Revision – substantial revisions are required and the manuscript may be reviewed again;
  • Decline Submission – the manuscript does not meet the journal’s academic or editorial standards.
  1. Revision Process

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to reviewers’ and editors’ comments. Revised manuscripts must be submitted within the specified timeframe. The editor may request additional review if significant revisions are required.

  1. Final Decision and Publication

The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on reviewers’ evaluations, editorial considerations, and the overall quality of the manuscript.

Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, proofreading, layout preparation, and publication through the TANJAK journal platform.

  1. Review Duration

The review process generally takes approximately 4–8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability, manuscript quality, and the extent of revisions required.

TANJAK is committed to maintaining a transparent, fair, and rigorous peer-review system in accordance with international standards of scholarly publishing and publication ethics.
